In our team we apply Continuous Integration/Delivery methodologies in new, previously unexplored fields, build our own open source, scalable simulation and virtualization environments, contribute to open source frameworks and constantly strive to improve the underlying tools and workflows wherever we can, without fear of upsetting the status quo.

As an intern you will actively contribute to R&D projects related to designing cloud infrastructure and implementing, maintaining and monitoring the world’s most cutting-edge applications. You will learn how to scale computing power and apply it to AI solutions and advanced, distributed CI/CD pipelines. You will work with cloud services and multiple sysadmin/devops tools to provide fast and friendly development environments for our internal teams. You will be provided with all the necessary tools, from high-end gear and hardware to mentoring and team experience on every step of the way.

Requirements

• students of computer science, electronics or related fields
• availability for an intensive, 2-month summer program (ca. 300 hours in total) or for a more flexible program throughout the academic year (min. 20 hours/week, ca. 200 hours in total)
• familiarity with various issues in the field of cloud engineering (virtualization, scalability, load balancing, distributed computing power, monitoring, log processing)
• experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript etc.)
• knowledge of programming (at least one of C/C++/C#/Go)
• experience with Git
• understanding of CI/CD practices
• ability to document work precisely and accurately
• readiness for everyday work in Linux
• good command of English
• teamwork and willingness to learn from others
